		<description>That got me thinking Lia, maybe FB might be afraid of going the same way as Friendster and Myspace. Hot once and then poof* gone. That&#039;s why they&#039;re working so hard to stay relevant and on the cutting edge. I think their survival depends a lot on how well they can adapt and reinvent. That&#039;s tough considering that times change all the time.</description>

		<description>I&#039;d like to think about Facebook as a fad, just like friendster who had their glorious days in Asia and Myspace in the US.

So I guess Google doesn&#039;t worry about it at all. After all, the name of the game is online &#039;longevity&#039; ;)</description>

When I want to check regarding what&#039;s the latest on my friends, that&#039;s when I go to Facebook.

For me, that&#039;s the main difference between the two. So yes, I don&#039;t think it is a good comparison. People go to each site to do different things.</description>
