It’s official. I am a married man {see the proof at the bottom of this post}.

Now if you’ve been subscribed to my newsletter for any length of time you probably noticed I’ve been a little pre-occupied with the wedding planning and haven’t been as proactive as usual.

My weekly emails haven’t been as consistent and that includes my tweets and Facebook messages too!

That said, it’s been business as usual for the rest of the team. Things have been humming along with client work and we’ve been tightening our systems and procedures.

And I know, once I’m back from my honeymoon, I’ll be “chopping at the bit” to get stuck back into things. We’ve got so many exciting things coming I can’t wait to share them with you.

But I digress!

Here are a few news items I think are important to you as the small/medium sized business owner:

Matt Cutts On Penguin And Internal Links {always good to listen to Matt}

Links disavow placebo {we’re doing our own tests too and it’s matching up}

Universal Analytics {an insight into the next wave in analytics}

Excellent SEO presentation {this guy hits the nail on the head}

A hoodwinked generation of marketers gets its social media reality check {interesting}

Social networks – 100 million plus club {interesting stats}

How To Hire A Players {good but I’m biased}

And how about our news? Well, apart from having a wedding 😉

#1. My session at WordCamp Melbourne was a hit! I’m hoping to get you the recordings to that in the next couple of weeks. Keep an eye out!

#2. I’ve been uploading a few new cool videos from our Outsource Profit Machine 2 workshop to YouTube. Here are a couple:

Jen Sheehan talking about outsourcing:

And Pete Williams talking about using reloadable Visa cards for your outsourcers:

This is not a video but you can learn about the outsourcing process steps here.

Anyway, that’s it for now…

I’m going to be off the radar for a couple of weeks (we’re off to Bali for the honeymoon) but when I get back – let’s move things into high gear.

I really want to work more closely with you in June. Lots of things have been changing online and I’ve got a few ideas how we can ramp up your business.

Catch you in a couple of weeks,

Dave “married man” Jenyns

Also, here are a couple of snaps from the wedding…

#1. Speaks for itself… it was like a fairy tale wedding.

#2. I decided to sing Carroyln a song (I’ll post a YouTube clip soon!).

#3. One from WordCamp Melbourne – smashing it!
