Unfortunately we can’t really work with existing press releases. Part of what makes our method so effective is the way in which we write our press releases.
If you’d like some help submitting the release you have, go ahead and contact our support team and I’m sure we can point you in the right direction… but to take advantage of our PR service we don’t offer a cut down version.

What is the difference between your Press Release and Article Distribution services? They sound similar but have a dramatic price diference.

Thanks for asking.
#1 The Article Distribution service pushes articles out to 100+ places typically article and blog based sites.
#2 The Press Release goes out to 10,000+ completely different media, blog and article based sites. You’ll find there’s often super high quality links from this service back to your site. And there’s also the added bonus that you may get picked up by the media too.
In short, I think you’ll get better bang for your buck with the Press Release but it’s a great idea to have a combination of both strategies. The aim of the game is to get as many backlinks to your site from a variety of different sources.

The Press Release service does seem like the best deal to me. However, my site that I want to get traffic to is more of an “event” site so we end up publishing our coverage the last or two after. If I buy your Article or PR service, does that work off our article, or is it a better idea to remake that article in your own words (in a relevant time period, like a few days) then send it off to all those fancy directories for me?

What level of distribution do you use on PRweb?
Hi Jack. Responding in behalf of Dave here… The level of distribution we go for will depend on whether there’s a video or not. We go for premium if there’s a video and advanced if there’s no video.

Regarding the 10,000+ distribution to the press release, does that mean the site will be getting 10,000+ backlinks? will those links be permanent? what are the PR of the pages the in which the press release will be distributed?

Yes you do get 10,000+ backlinks and the majority of which are permanent. The PR of those pages vary as they’re from thousands of news sites around the internet. Also, many of the sites are blog style so it might start off as a higher page rank but as the press release moves off the first page it’ll go to a deeper (typically lower PR) page.
This strategy should be used as part of an overall SEO strategy but when used in conjunction with other link building methods it can have amazing positive effects.

Hi Aryan. The SEO Method still works very well. Many of our sites continue to rank. I’ve personally tried the method with sites that run contextual ads (not necessarily Adsense) and I know the techniques work but keep in mind that Dave doesn’t advise building sites intended mainly to make money from Adsense even if they aren’t junk sites. This is because you could get kicked out of Adsense for reasons unknown to you and when that happens, you’ll lose your entire income source. It’s still best to go for different monetization models.
If this stuff really works, give me an example of any adsense website which has been ranked in Google.
